Saic Volkswagen Automotive Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "SAIC Volkswagen") is a Sino-German joint venture operated by SAIC Motor and Volkswagen Group. The company was founded in October 1984 and is one of the oldest automobile joint ventures in China.
